Arcade Assembly have unveiled themselves to the world with the launch of their debut single, “Nothing’s Real“. The duo are comprised of Nonpoint vocalist Elias Soriano and Grey Daze singer Cris Hodges. This song arrives through the Nonpoint-led label venture, 361 Degrees Records. Hodges had the following to say of this new pairing:
“I grew up listening to Nonpoint and I always admired the fire Elias brought to his music. When we connected through a business venture, I had just written a song that needed that fire. It felt like it was meant for his voice.”
Soriano added:
“Cris has this easygoing, yet driven energy. He brought me into the project, and when I heard the song, I was hooked. It’s got everything—emotional grit, a killer hook, and a beat that hits you hard. The chemistry was instant, and before we knew it, industry folks around us were buzzing, urging us to release it.”
This initial single also sports contributions from guitarist Zack Munowitz (Filter), drummer Hugo Ribeiro (Moonspell) and EDM producer Kustom Mike Polk. Chris Collier (Korn, Nonpoint) took on the mixing duties.
Speaking of this project’s adventurous nature, Soriano stated, “We’re excited to collaborate with artists who want to step outside of their usual creative worlds. There are no rules here, and that’s what makes this so inspiring.”
