Post-hardcore outfit Senses Fail and pop-punkers Saves The Day have covered each other ahead of their co-headlining tour together this fall. Senses Fail put their own spin Saves The Day‘s 1999 cut “Through Being Cool“, while Saves The Day tackled Senses Fail‘s 2004 single “Lady In A Blue Dress“.
Both tracks will appear on Pure Noise Records‘ “Dead Formats Vol. 3” covers compilation, which is due out October 17th. There’s a bit more synergy at play here than that though. Both bands will be playing their respective albums these two newly shared renditions originally appeared on amid their upcoming co-headlining tour.
Senses Fail will be ringing in the 20th anniversary of their debut album “Let It Enfold You” on that trek. Saves The Day will mark 25 years of their sophomore effort, “Through Being Cool“. Narrow Head will open that run, read on for the dates:
