Progressive death metal band Rivers Of Nihil are taking a look back at where it all began for them with an upcoming newly re-mixed and remastered version of their 2010 debut EP “Hierarchy“. The group had the EP’s original producer Carson Slovak (August Burns Red, ERRA) update the album with a new mix and subsequent mastering job. A digital and vinyl release is slated for November 08th through Metal Blade Records. You can snag a copy of that now via metalblade.com/riversofnihil.
Meanwhile, recording and post-production for the band’s fifth full-length album has already wrapped with a 2025 release date being lined up. Two tracks from that ten-song collection have already been released in the form of “The Sub-Orbital Blues” and “Criminals“. Your next taste of the record isn’t expected until sometime in the new year.
