Gold-certified prog rockers Coheed And Cambria have just shared a new single titled “Blind Side Sonny“, alongside it comes its official music video. Director Max Moore (A Day To Remember, Knocked Loose) once again took on the directorial duties for the latter, having worked with the group several times in the past.
According to a press release, this song is the first offering from the band’s ‘next full body of work.’ It also serves as the introduction to a new villain in their conceptual universe of ‘The Amory Wars‘ and ‘Vaxis‘. Vocalist/guitarist Claudio Sanchez commented:
“‘Blind Side Sonny‘ is a song about revenge. What may seem like an innocent choice to someone could be the breeding ground of another’s malicious misunderstanding. Perception can be your worst enemy.”
