In the wake of the now official departure of their vocalist Marcos Leal, Latin-influenced nü-metal band Ill Niño are proceeding forward in their most recent incarnation. The group’s scheduled performance at today’s (September 28th) ‘Louder Than Life‘ festival has been booked with ex-Bad Wolves vocalist Tommy Vext once again behind the mic. It has also been billed as ‘Ill Niño Featuring Tommy Vext‘.
Leal‘s exit from the group was announced earlier this week. However, Leal was also absent during the band’s summer European/UK tour, with Vext filling in. Outside of this show, the band have yet to comment if Vext will also be sitting in amid the band’s upcoming live appearances.
