Salem Trials have shared a music video for their song “Purest Evil” just ahead of tomorrow’s (September 27th) release of their new EP, “Rot“. The Ottawa, Ontario-based death metallers will be issuing that 6-song set through Seek And Strike.
Speaking of this final advance single from it, the band shared:
“The song, ‘Purest Evil‘ revolves around a demon in the guise of a scythe, patiently awaiting the right host to reclaim dominion over the world once more. While the music video may not directly depict this storyline, it certainly aligns with these thematic elements and offers a glimpse into what ‘Purest Evil‘ could represent in a more grounded context. Choosing this song as the single/ focus track on the EP was a no brainer. The vocal call outs and very in your face structure and presence of the song made it very easy to know from its inception that this would be a focus track.”
