The third stop of Linkin Park‘s worldwide comeback tour took place tonight, September 22nd, at Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Tucked away in the encore of that sprawling 27-song performance was the live premiere of a brand new track titled “Heavy Is The Crown“.
That song will appear on the newly reconfigured diamond-certified nü-metal/alternative rock band’s eighth studio album “From Zero“. The outfit of course recorded that opus in secret, making the big reveal about it and their new lineup and tour earlier in the year.
The newest individuals to join the studio configuration of Linkin Park include Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara) taking on the vocal duties previously helmed by the late Chester Bennington, and drummer Colin Brittain assuming the percussion duties following the departure of Rob Bourdon.
Fan-filmed footage of this newly unveiled song, which is the second to emerge off of “From Zero” overall, has been uploaded online below. A November 15th release date stands for “From Zero“. As for the group’s reunion touring, it will be hitting the following cities across the coming weeks:

“Heavy Is The Crown” is also expected to serve as the anthem for the upcoming 2024 Worlds event for the MOBA video game League Of Legends. That championship will commence on September 25th. A music video for the song will be premiering this Tuesday, September 24th. Vocalist/guitarist, etc. Mike Shinoda said of the collaboration:
