The 2025 U.S. metal festival season has begun to fall into place with the announcement of Metallica as the headliner for next year’s ‘Sick New World‘ festival in Las Vegas, NV on April 12th, as well as the headliner for two nights of the annual ‘Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival‘ in Columbus, OH.
While additional word on the roster for ‘Sick New World‘ remains pending, some key artists have been announced for the next edition of ‘Sonic Temple‘. Metallica will be performing Friday, May 09th and Sunday, May 11th at that event, which will run from May 08th through to May 11th at the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH.
Industrial rocker Rob Zombie will also be playing on May 09th, while multi-platinum grunge legends Alice In Chains will be performing on Sunday night. 108 bands in total are expected to take part in next year’s ‘Sonic Temple‘ with further announcements pending.
