Zakk Sabbath, the Black Sabbath tribute band fronted by Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne and Pantera fame, will be mounting a headlining U.S. tour towards the end of the year. Rob Zombie bassist Rob “Blasko” Nicholson and drummer Joey Castillo (Circle Jerks, ex-Queens Of The Stone Age, etc.) join Wylde in that outfit.
This new trek has been dubbed the ‘King Of The Monstours‘ and will feature opening sets from a pair of tribute acts in Zoso, who describe themselves as ‘the ultimate Led Zeppelin experience’, and The Iron Maidens — an all-female tribute band to British metal legends Iron Maiden.
An artist presale is available for that run now using the password ‘MONSTOUR’ via zakksabbath.live. The general onsale will be up this Friday, September 20th. Outside of the tour, Zakk Sabbath have also newly issued the digital compilation “Greatest Riffs“.
It pools together tracks from the past Zakk Sabbath previous Black Sabbath tribute offerings in 2020’s “Vertigo“, and this year’s double album “Doomed Forever Forever Doomed” — both of which were originally released exclusively via physical formats.
