Buñuel, who feature ex-Oxbow vocalist Eugene S. Robinson and more among their roster, are now streaming a second single from their upcoming double album, “Mansuetude“. The group, who also feature guitarist Xabier Idiondo (Afterhours, A Short Apnea), bassist Andrea Lombardini (The Framers) and drummer Franz Valente (Il Teatro Degli Orrori), commented of this song:
“Following a Breaking Bad trajectory and owing this account largely to a friend of his who had been called The Crystal Meth King of Oklahoma by the FBI, the FIXER follows a drug czar’s Man Friday as he cleans up that which inevitably needs cleaning up when you’re living a life of crime.”
Megan Osztrosits of Couch Slut guests on this track and stated of the collaboration:
“When Eugene hit me up to ask if I wanted to do vocals for a track, I said yes without even hearing it. He rules and I am psyched for this absolute ripper of an album.”
“Mansuetude” will be out on October 25th and also feature cameos from Jacob Bannon (Converge, Umbra Vitae) and Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Tomahawk), among others.
