Sodom have an expanded reissue planned for their fifth studio album, 1992’s “Tapping The Vein“. This version of the effort sports a brand new mix and mastering job, along with a previously unreleased live concert captured in Tokyo, Japan back in 1992. A few alternate takes are also included.
Vocalist/bassist Tom Angelripper commented:
“At the time it was just another album for us, but the Sodomaniacs all over the world made it a cult classic. It’s just sad that Chris Witchhunter is not here anymore to celebrate with us.”
He later added:
“The fans mean everything to us, and this is really just for them. Working on ‘Tapping The Vein‘ again brought back so many memories, both good and bad, but this is who we were 32 years ago. An amazing trip.”
