It appears that Lamb Of God and Mastodon are teasing a potential split release of some manner. A teaser shared via Mastodon‘s social media accounts today, September 05th offered up “A flood is coming… and most of you will die”, with a September 12th reveal date being shared in the caption. Lamb Of God have previously recorded splits with their tourmates, teaming up with Kreator last year.

In other news, Lamb Of God have released their 2020 livestreamed performance of their gold-certified third studio album “Ashes Of The Wake” to Apple And Google Play. That performance took place in Richmond, VA amid the COVID lockdown and was previously livestreamed. Lamb Of God had been out celebrating 20 years of “Ashes Of The Wake” on the road this summer as part of a co-headlining run with Mastodon, who were marking the the 20th anniversary of “Leviathan“. A deluxe 20th anniversary edition of “Ashes Of The Wake” saw a release last week.
