A video for French nü-metalcore band Resolve‘s brand new single “Molotov” has gone up online. That track is from an upcoming ‘extended cut’ version of the group’s latest album “Human“. That deluxe edition is set for an October 25th release on Arising Empire.

8 bonus songs will appear on that expanded version of the record, they include:

Molotov
Sandman
Smile
Older Days” (feat. ten56. & Paleface Swiss)
The Fire” (“Bloodlust” live performance)
The Aftermath” (“Continuum” live performance)
The Everlasting” (“In Stone” live performance)
Older Days” (live vocal performance) (feat. ten56. & Paleface Swiss)

Vocalist Anthony Diliberto said of this cut:

“‘Molotov‘ is an incendiary track, relentless and aggressive. I feel like upon the first few seconds of the track, you get the message clear as day: we’re here to shake the earth to its core. It’s very much a follow up, an epilogue even, to 2023’s lead single ‘Human.’ Decades after the machines overtaking of earth and humanity, the cycle begins again and a new hope for humanity arises when a robot inexplicably starts behaving like an actual living person. When you stand out so much from the crowd, does that make you a leader or a pariah?”

As for the deluxe edition of “Human“, bassist Robin Mariat offered:

“This is a new form of release for us, which is very exciting. We get to build up on the world that we shaped for ‘Human‘, and these new tracks are the continuation of the story. These new tracks definitely have something for everyone, whether you like the heavier side of Resolve, or if you are more into our melodic capabilities.”
