Former Bad Wolves vocalist Tommy Vext will assume the lead vocal duties for Ill Niño‘s upcoming European/UK touring. That anniversary run is being billed as the ‘25 Years Of Latin Metal‘. It is unclear why Ill Niño vocalist Marcos Leal won’t be partaking in the run, with no reason being provided in an official press release.
Vext himself commented of this impending run on social media:
“Very honored to be filling for my brothers of over 25 years in @illninoofficial on their European/ Uk tour starting august 28th
I came up in the hardcore scene opening for these guys and you all have seen Marc Rizzo & I share the stage in my solo shows & @bleedthefifthofficial”
Ill Niño drummer Dave Chavarri added, “We are excited to have Tommy perform with Ill Niño across all these European stages.”
