Kublai Khan TX will have their fifth studio album, “Exhibition Of Prowess“, out on September 20th through Rise Records. News of the album emerges as the fearsome metalcore band have recently been weathering some uproar on social media over the alleged political, etc. views of vocalist Matt Honeycutt. The opening track “Supreme Ruler” is the third song to launch from that new effort, following “Theory Of Mind” and “Low Tech“.
The band said of this newly revealed cut from the record:
“‘Supreme Ruler‘ is a metalcore torpedo aimed straight at the world. This song captures the true simplicity and pissed-off essence of Kublai Khan TX in its rawest form. Straight to the point, no bullshit, and built to last.”
The outfit have also lined up some guest performers for the album, including Throwdown vocalist Dave Peters on “Cannibal” and Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta on “A Hopeless Fate“.
