Slipknot launched their 25th anniversary tour for their acclaimed 1999 self-titled album tonight, August 06th, at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, IN. While the masked Iowan juggernauts have already played several shows this year, tonight’s headlining appearance was the first official stop of their ‘Here Comes The Pain.‘ tour.
As many maggots had been hoping, the group leaned heavily into that aforementioned landmark album for the setlist, performing all but “Diluted” from that 2x multi-platinum-certified opus. Vocalist Corey Taylor warned the audience in advance what they were in for, stating ahead of the set that “Nothing you will hear tonight was written after 1999.”
The group stayed true to Taylor‘s proclamation, while also taking the liberty to include some b-side tracks (“Get This” & “Me Inside“) from the album self-titled era as well. According to fans in attendance, the following tracks were played:

It’s worth pointing out that both “No Life” and “Scissors” had last been performed back in 2000, while “Only One” was last in the band’s set back in 2012. As for “Me Inside“, it was last played by the group back in 2015. There’s ample opportunities to catch this 25th anniversary run over the coming months, with the non-festival stops primarily serving as the meat and potatoes for this celebratory trek.
