Brujeria will be pushing forward with their planned shows, despite the recent passing of their vocalist/sampler Ciriaco “Pinche Peach” Quezada. Vocalist Juan Brujo recently confirmed their plans in a video available below.
On July 18th it was announced that Quezada had passed away as a result of heart complications. A funeral for Peach is expected to take place on August 04th and funds are being sought to help cover his final expenses. Should you be able to contribute, you can do so via GoFundMe.

“We are heartbroken to announce that Ciriaco “Peach” Quezada aka El Pinche Peach, passed away on July 17, 2024, from serious heart complications.
Ciriaco has left behind his beloved kids, Thaies and Joao, and his caring mother Dolores.
Peach was a founding member of the band Brujeria. He dedicated over 30 years to the project as its first unmasked member and cared deeply about forming connections with audience members. His passion and dedication to music manifested not only in his powerful stage presence but also in his kindness and affection for concert-goers. I am certain that most people who have seen a Brujeria show or worked with them in their prolific career have had a memorable moment with “Pinche Peach“.
Our family has incurred some serious costs to give Ciriaco a proper funeral that celebrates his life and legacy.
To help ease the stress caused by the funeral costs, the family of Ciriaco “Peach” Quezada has set up this GoFundMe page. A contribution of any size is deeply appreciated.

I had only just seen him at the Hellfest Open Air Festival 2 weeks previous .. it’s hit us all very hard .. peach’s funeral is August 4th .. if you can find it in your hearts to help a little with his funeral expenses that Would Mean the world right now … it was so unexpected … ❤️”
