Country rocker Cory Marks enlisted some hard rock and country icons to assist him on his newly released single, “(Make My) Country Rock“. On the rock front, that song features guest spots from Godsmack frontman Sully Erna, and estranged Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars. Representing country alongside Marks is an appearance from multi-platinum country star Travis Tritt.
Marks himself stated:
“What can I say…I’m country, I’m rock. That’s exactly what this song is and what I sing about. It may piss people off, but I know a lot more listeners out there are gonna be happier when they hear it. I can say that my friends and features on this track agree too! I’m gonna make my country rock!”
Marks‘ new album “Sorry For Nothing” will be out on October 11th through Better Noise Music. Last month found Marks welcoming Bad Wolves vocalist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz (ex-The Acacia Strain, etc.) on a track titled “Guilty“.
