Progressive French metal band Gojira appear to be set to perform at the opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. Sortiraparis.com report that members of the outfit will reportedly be backing opera singer Marina Viotti as part of a live collaboration that will help kick off this year’s competition this Friday, July 26th. The latter Mezzo-soprano has long been vocal about her passion for metal music.
