Metallica secured the ‘Rock Album Of The Year’ at the 2024 ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards‘. The award was announced prior to tonight’s (April 01st) awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The thrash metal legends pre-taped their acceptance speech, with it available to stream below.
In addition to that eleventh studio album from the celebrated band topping a number of best of lists from 2024, its title track also won the band a ‘Best Metal Performance’ GRAMMY.
