Spineshank‘s third studio album, 2003’s “Self-Destructive Pattern“, is headed for its vinyl debut. Real Gone Music will be issuing that record’s first pressing on vinyl on March 01st, with a limited run of 1,000 ‘bone’-colored copies being produced.
The industrial/alternative metal outfit would break up in the year that followed that album’s original release, eventually returning for another reunion that lasted from 2008 to 2016. “Self-Destructive Pattern” earned the Los Angeles, CA band their sole Grammy nomination. The single “Smothered” was up for ‘Best Metal Performance’ back in 2004, but ultimately lost out to Metallica‘s “St. Anger“.
