Diamond-certified alternative rockers The Smashing Pumpkins will be livestreaming an acoustic performance of their 4x multi-platinum 1993 album “Siamese Dream” later this month. That performance will be held in celebration of the album’s 30th anniversary, with other festivities planned as well.

The aforementioned acoustic performance will take place at Madame Zuzu’s in Highland Park, IL. The band’s mastermind Billy Corgan runs that tea shop and art studio with his wife Chloe Mendel. Plans have been announced to transform that space into a Tower Records pop-up store to recreate the band’s original album release event for “Siamese Dream“.

The group originally welcomed “Siamese Dream” into the world with an in-store performance at Tower Records in Chicago, IL that drew thousands. That pop-up transformation will be open to the public for three days, starting on September 14th. A limited line of merch celebrating the anniversary will be available in store and online as well around that event.

The livestreamed set will take place on September 17th and tickets for it can be obtained over at veeps.events.
