Harm’s Way have unleashed a music video for their new single “Devour” upon the internet at large. That song is taken from the industrial metallic hardcore outfit’s new studio album, “Common Suffering“, which Metal Blade have slated for a September 29th release date.
The band themselves addressed the inspiration behind this latest track from it, stating:
“‘Devour‘ is an expression of self-reflection following the realization that everything that was once there to give has been spent. Led down a path of deception and manipulation, one’s sense of self has been lost along the way. ‘Devour‘ is the process of waking up to your isolation, with actions and purpose that are somehow no longer your own. It’s a crossroads that can lead you either the rest of the way down, or back to where whatever’s lost may be found again.”
Along with new music, the band have announced the dates for a fall headlining run. That trek will find them out with Vein.fm side project Fleshwater, as well as Ingrown and Jivebomb. Tickets for the trek will be up this Friday, August 18th at 10:00am local time.
