Experimental melodic hardcore outfit Scowl will be taking part in a series of half-time shows being put on by fast food giant Taco Bell for the upcoming ‘Women’s World Cup‘. A trio of performers have been tapped for the ‘Feed The Beat: Unofficial Halftime Shows’, which will be broadcast by Taco Bell around that games. In addition to Scowl, performances from MUNA and Claire Rosinkranz will be aired.
Scowl‘s set will be airing on August 05th at 07:50pm PDT / 10:50 EDT via Tacobell.com. In addition to having sponsored numerous heavier bands over the years, you might recall that Taco Bell also chose Turnstile‘s “Holiday” to soundtrack an advertisement last year.
