Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello lends his talents to the newly released single from shock rock legend Alice Cooper“. That track is titled “White Line Frankenstein” and finds Morello stepping in with a guest guitar solo.
Cooper said of the track:
“‘White Line Frankenstein‘ is a monster that we created. It’s a truck driver who’s been out there a long time. He’s the king of the road. He doesn’t live in a house. He lives in that truck. In the song, this surreal tough guy is driving on white lines for his whole life. So, ‘White Line Frankenstein’ would be his CB handle. It’s monstrous and definitely a stage song.”
A video for the song has been released online below. You can find the single on Cooper‘s new studio album “Road“, due out August 25th on earMUSIC. The 75-year-old shock rock icon will be living up to the album’s title this year, with a busy slate of touring lined up for the coming months.
