Code Orange have finally lifted the veil on the fifth studio album, “The Above“. Their first to arrive through their new label home of Blue Grape Music, that 14-song outing features a guest spot from Billy Corgan of diamond-certified alternative rock outfit The Smashing Pumpkins on its latest single, “Take Shape“. A music video for that track co-directed by Max Moore and the band’s vocalist Jami Morgan has just arrived online.
“The Above” will meet a September 29th release. While Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose (programming/vocals) oversaw the production duties of the record, Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) sat in on some of the engineering.
