A mini-Fantômas reunion took place last night (May 24th) during Mr. Bungle‘s show at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA. Given that Mr. Bungle‘s current lineup features 3/4th of Fantômas (Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn and Dave Lombardo), all it took was a guest appearance from Melvins vocalist/guitarist Buzz Osborne to reunite the outfit.
Osborne sat in for a rendition of Fantômas‘ cover of Henri Mancini‘s “Experiment In Terror“, as featured on their 2001 release “The Director’s Cut“. Fan-filmed footage of the reunion has emerged online below:
