Trivium, etc. vocalist/guitarist Matt Heafy has released his cover of Tom Cochrane‘s 1991 hit single “Life Is A Highway“. While Cochrane‘s version would only managed to notch up a gold-certification in the United States, a 2005 cover done by Rascal Flatts went on to earn a 6x multi-platinum status—thanks in no small part to its inclusion on the soundtrack to the Pixar animated film ‘Cars‘.
