Nachtmystium have been working on new material for their next album as of late. According to band frontman/guitarist Blake Judd:
“The new record will have a very strong industrial influence in the vein of later-era Ministry, Revolting Cocks and Nine Inch Nails, but also a strong, depressive, old-school black metal influence.”
More details are expected on the effort as sessions progress. In related news, the band have also lined up two separate projects with members of Von. First up Judd will appear on Von bassist Venien‘s Von Venien project, which will release a 12″ single entitled Empire shortly. Also in the works is a Nachtmystium and Von split which will feature new material as well as Nachtmystium covering Von.
