Gold-certified alternative metal band In This Moment have announced that they will be postponing their planned show in Evansville, IN tonight (August 26th) after being involved in a bus accident while en route to the venue this morning. A post shared today by the group on the incident reads:
“Blood legion,
Sometimes things happen beyond our control and this is one of those times, at 5 am last night our bus convoy came up on an accident in the road, evasive maneuvers were needed, one of our busses was hit by a semi truck and the other one had brake issues as a result. We are all safe and we are working to resolve these issues. Unfortunately we have to postpone our show in Evansville tonight and we are working to try to get everything resolved. Thanks for your understanding. We are all grateful to be safe and can’t wait to see you all.”
The band have also advised their fans to hold into their tickets and VIP packages for the eventual rescheduled date. Tonight’s show was set to kick off In This Moment‘s summer headlining run with Nothing More, Sleep Token and Cherry Bombs. That trek is booked to run as follows:
