Portuguese gothic metal quintet Moonspell will be releasing a new live effort titled “From Down Below – Live 80 Meters Deep” on September 30th via Napalm Records. That effort finds the band performing their 2021 album “Hermitage” in its entirety within the unique setting of Grutas de Mira D’Aire in Mira de Aire, Portugal. Those caves/grottoes were ‘discovered’ in 1947 and have become a tourist attraction in the time since.
The Guilherme Henrique directed film capturing the May 07th, 2021 live performance will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. Below you can watch a video for “Entitlement” from the set.
