Misery Signals‘ Stu Ross (guitars), Ryan Morgan (guitars) and Kyle Johnson (bass) have teamed up with Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley and ex-7 Angels 7 Plagues frontman Matt Mixon in a group dubbed Burning Empires.
The band, who describe their sound as “crusty hard-charging punk with nary a melodic or metal shred in site,” actually see Ryan Morgan taking lead on the vocals as opposed to Mixon, and will release a new 7″ through their own FC Records label on November 10th.
Furthermore, the band will enter the studio with Mike Schleibaum of Darkest Hour fame later this month to begin recording a new EP for a release early next year; while a January Australian trek with The Amity Affliction and Break Even is also in the works.
