Meshiaak have announced that they have solved the majority of their personnel problems. Following the departure of their guitarist Dean Wells, drummer David Godfrey and bassist Andrew Cameron back in early 2021, the outfit have lined up guitarist Logan Mader (Once Human, ex-Machine Head), while drummer Jon Dette (ex-Slayer/Testament, etc.) has returned to the fold.
The bass position in the group remains open with a replacement still being sought. Speaking of what’s to come, vocalist Danny Camilleri commented, “I haven’t been this excited to create music in years! The next Meshiaak album is going to be a monster! A big, fat, angry monster.”
Mader, who will be co-writing and producing that new album, added, “I am beyond stoked to be a part of this album with Meshiaak. I’ll be producing and playing guitar on it. I have a good feeling about how heavy and epic it will be.”
