The Foo Fighters officially re-opened the Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY tonight (June 20th), performing the first 100% capacity show at the acclaimed venue since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared. Those attending the show were required to provide proof of having been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per the venue’s updated safety policy.

Fans under the age of 16 attending were required to provide a negative COVID-19 rapid test before being admitted to the venue. During the group’s 24-song set, they were joined by comedian/actor/writer Dave Chappelle for a cover of Radiohead‘s “Creep“. Fan-filmed footage of that can be seen below.

The set also saw the band give their cover of the Bee Gees‘ “You Should Be Dancing” its proper live debut, having previously played it for an in-studio session on BBC Radio 2 session.

Foo Fighters will be releasing a new effort titled “Hail Satin” under the name of the Dee Gees for the approaching July 17th ‘Record Store Day‘ drop. It will find the band covering five Bee Gees tracks along with in-studio performances of five tracks of their own. You can get the details for that here.
