Opeth and Machine Head will both be participating in this years Record Store Day festivities. Each band have a new vinyl release due out through participating retailers on April 16th.
First up Opeth will issue a 7″ vinyl for their track “The Throat Of Winter“, which originally saw a release on the “God Of War III” video game themed EP, “God Of War: Blood & Metal“. The b-side to the release will feature an etching of the bands logo.
Machine Head on the other hand will release a 10″ vinyl dubbed “The Black Procession” which features three previously unreleased live tracks which were captured during the bands 2010 “Black Procession Tour“. It will run as follows:
Side A:
“Beautiful Mourning” (live)
“Bite The Bullet” (live)
Side B:
“Halo” (live)
