According to the recent tweets from members of the band, As I Lay Dying were served with summons today, February 16th, while in Madison, Wisconsin. The suit apparently stems from an incident which took place at one of their performances two years back, where a security guard was allegedly injured while working the groups show.
Band guitarist Phil Sgrosso commented via Twitter on being served with the following:
“Nothing like receiving a summons in the middle of a signing. Total dick move!”
