It appears that a tenth album from the Foo Fighters may arrive in 2020. The band’s frontman/guitarist Dave Grohl announced the news during the band’s performance at the annual ‘Rock In Rio‘ festival this past Saturday, September 28th. He told the audience from the stage:
“I don’t know when we’ll be back down here again, but we will. We go home next week and we start making a new Foo Fighters record. It’s good, it’s good.”
There’s not much else to go on yet regarding the effort thus far. This year has seen the band cleaning out their closet with a series of EPs consisting of various odds and ends, the latest of which, “01070725“, arrived last week.
