Counterparts have a new album tentatively due out later this year on Pure Noise Records with an exact release date still pending. The band’s frontman Brendan Murphy confirmed the news during a recent appearance on the latest episode of the ‘Lambgoat Vanflip Podcast‘. While Murphy didn’t promise any major surprises for the new record, he did confirm that they’ve done their part on it:
“…I don’t really know a date, it’ll be this year assuming nothing goes wrong. We’re done. We’ve done our part. So it’s a matter of, just like wrapping all that stuff up… doing all the boring stuff that I don’t do. We were at the studio. We did it. We’re done.”
