Behemoth frontman/guitarist Nergal claims to have recently been ejected from a YMCA while on tour in the United States for wearing a Darkthrone shirt. According to Nergal, who shared the below video on the incident, staff approached him over his shirt and instructed him to leave after he revealed to that them he ‘doesn’t worship Jesus Christ’ upon being asked. While Behemoth of course have a lengthy history in extolling Satanism, the YMCA are a Christian leaning organization.
Nergal shared the below video yesterday, August 14th, while the band were on tour with Slipknot in Virginia Beach, VA. The video finds him explaining his ejection from the facility to his driver after being asked to leave the premises.
