Vex Red, who initially found fame in the early 2000s after signing with producer Ross Robinson‘s I AM imprint, have announced a new EP titled “Give Me The Dark” for an October 04th release date on Say Something Records. Pre-orders for that effort can be obtained here, while the studio version of a new single from it titled “Tarantula” has arrived below.
The band’s vocalist/guitarist Terry Abbott had the following to say of this latest track, which originally surfaced a few years back:
“‘Tarantula‘ is about finding calm in a world full of noise – to quiet the static and outrun the turbulence. As our political landscapes get rougher with each new direction and power game we find ourselves underneath a growing storm. It feels like a sense of helpless imminence has us in its grasp.”
The group have also announced a September 13th live show at the Camden Assembly in London, England. “Give Me The Dark” will featuring the following track listing:
01 – “Tarantula”
02 – “Burn This Place”
03 – “Air”
04 – “So I Can Sleep”
05 – “Lake”
06 – “Dermo” (acoustic)
