iwrestledabearonce have been finishing up writing new material for their next album as of late and will be entering the studio in the coming months to begin recording it. In the meantime, the band recently tracked an as-yet unspecified cover song which in their words will be “released for something awesome.” To that end the band guitarist/programmer Steven Bradley posted the following update:
“this week we are finishing up writing! the whole album is just about finished at this point with just one song left to wrap up… and then we’ll just be going back through everything and tweeking/finessing/making gooderer/whatever you wanna call it.
annnddddd… i think krysta is going to track vocals for a cover song we did today. it’s not going on the album, but WILL be released for something awesome : D more details when we’re allowed to talk about it!”
