Gojira guitarist Christian Andreu narrowly avoided serious injury after an apparent mistimed pyro cue during their set at this weekend’s ‘Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival‘. Despite how bad it looked, Andreu returned to the stage shortly afterwards and finished out the remainder of the band’s performance. Fan-filmed footage of the accident can be seen below.
Thankfully, it would appear that no serious injury was sustained as the band were back onstage today, May 19th, performing at the annual ‘Chicago Open Air‘ festival.
