Having freshly walked away from Machine Head, Phil Demmel has set his sights on a re-release of the self-titled 1996 full-length from Torque. That project found him united with a number of his former Viol-lence bandmates.
This planned re-release will arrive on January 18th through the Mascot Label Group with four bonus songs (“Circling“, “Erased“, “Sever” and “Isolation/Anger Mine“)—all of which appeared on the band’s 1997 demo. Pre-orders for the re-release can be found here.
As Demmel states below, he may one day get back together to jam with his old friends in the project. Both Demmel and Dave McClain played their last show with Machine Head this past weekend.
