The organizers of the 2019 ‘Roadburn Festival‘ have revealed the addition of a special Triptykon performance. That set will find the band joined by the Dutch Metropole Orkest and will find Triptykon‘s Tom G. Warrior leading the charge through the three-part requiem that includes “Rex Irae” off Celtic Frost‘s “Into The Pandemonium” and “Winter” off “Monotheist“. A second part (“Grave Eternal“) has remained incomplete up until now apparently. Warrior commented:
“The three parts of the Requiem will be performed by Triptykon at Roadburn 2019, with full classical orchestration, congregated specifically for this occasion by Florian Magnus Maier, who is our esteemed classical collaborator and arranger in this project, and whose patience with me appears to be limitless. We feel very proud and deeply honoured to be joined in this endeavour by the renowned Dutch Metropole Orkest.”
The 2019 ‘Roadburn Festival‘ will take place April 11th-14th at 013 in Tilburg, NET. Sleep, Cave In, Daughters and many more will be playing the event.
