Bloodiest have inked a deal with Relapse and are readying the release of their debut album “Descent” for early next year. The seven piece outfit, who feature members of Yakuza and more within their ranks, had the following to say on their new album and signing:
“We recorded with Sanford Parker @ Electrical audio in Chicago (Steve Albini‘s studio) where most of the basic tracks were cut live (IE drums, bass, 3 guitars) showcasing the energy and spontaneity of these songs. We then overdubbed at Semaphore Studios (also in Chicago) adding layers and textures to enhance the dynamics for what the band is known for (IE effected vocals, figure picked acoustic guitar, piano, etc.) Bloodiest is pleased to be working with Relapse and glad they got to capture our debut release “Descent“.”
