It would appear Slipknot, etc. drummer Joey Jordison‘s recent comments regarding Slipknot‘s progress on a new album may have been a bit too skewed. Speaking in a series of tweets via his official Twitter, band frontman Corey Taylor offered the following:
“Before anyone gets the wrong idea, let me be clear. I have NO PLANS to make a new Slipknot album any time soon. Shows? Maybe. Album? No.”
He went on to state:
“As for Joey’s comments, he took that on himself to say that in print. I can think of 5 people in this band who haven’t written/heard a thing”
