The Ghost Inside took a big step forward this week, having had their first band practice since their November 2015 bus crash. As various members of the band continue to recover from the life-changing injuries they sustained in that crash, they have cautioned that it will be some time yet before you see them back onstage.
Appearing in a newly posted video (see below,) the band’s bassist Jim Riley and vocalist Jonathan Vigil discussed how the practice went with Riley stating:
“It was really incredible to finally get in a room and do what we do. But it also showed us that we have a long, long road ahead of us before we get on stage… We’re not leaving here today with a date set in stone to go out and play a show and you guys just don’t know about it yet. We think that when we reach the point when we can put a date on the calendar, pretty shortly after we know, we’re gonna share it with you.”
Update: It’s time for our #AskTGI question… Ours is “How did practice go and how was it being together doing band things again?” Find out in the video @SpartaDTD and @JonathanVigil made at the airport waiting for their flights home pic.twitter.com/H2ahtAIYzc
