Justin Brannan of Most Precious Blood/Indecision fame has won a seat on the New York City Council. He successfully ran as the democrat candidate and will represent district 43. Results saw him roughly 1150 votes ahead of the Republican candidate. Bklyner were present at Brannan‘s election night party last night and have word on his victory speech. Brannan also took his Facebook after the victory, offering: “We did it! Thank you all for everything! My name may have been on the ballot today but this victory belongs to YOU.”
