Machine Head‘s Robb Flynn celebrated his 50th birthday with a special concert this weekend at The Metro Operahouse in Oakland, CA. A number of musician friends joined him throughout the night, with much of the performance being livestreamed across Machine Head‘s Facebook.
The concert included covers of Linkin Park‘s “In The End“, Temple Of The Dog‘s “Hunger Strike“, Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty‘s “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” as a duet with former Bleeding Through keyboardist Marta (who is married to Machine Head‘s Phil Demmel), Nine Inch Nails‘ “Head Like A Hole“, The Beatles‘ “Birthday“, AC/DC‘s “TNT“, Snoop Dogg‘s “Gin And Juice“, Ozzy Osbourne‘s “Crazy Train” and more, see below for footage of that:
