Though System Of A Down have been touring Europe in recent weeks, their time together seemingly hasn’t meant their new long-awaited new studio album will happen anytime sooner. As part of a recent fan Q&A, bassist Shavo Odadjian said:
“I’m waiting for a new album too. It’s not happening, I don’t know. I don’t know when it’s gonna be. Not right now.”
Odadjian‘s comments echo that of drummer John Dolmayan, who previously said it was disheartening that they haven’t released a new album yet. There is still hope for fans however as fifteen new songs have been written thus far.
